Picture day generates hundreds or thousands of photos. Sorting them manually into individual galleries is tedious, error-prone, and time-consuming. Smart Matching eliminates that entire step.

How It Works

Before picture day, print student ID cards with unique QR codes. During the shoot, photograph each student's QR card first, then take their portraits. When you're done, load your photos into Classroom Captures and click scan.

The enhanced QR scanner processes each image, detects the QR codes, and automatically assigns all following photos to that student—until the next QR code appears. What used to take hours of clicking now happens in minutes.

Enhanced Detection Technology

Our scanner doesn't just look in one spot. It analyzes multiple regions and scales to find QR codes even when they're off-center, partially visible, or in challenging lighting conditions. Multi-pass scanning with contrast enhancement catches codes that basic scanners miss.

Review and Adjust

After scanning, review the results visually. See thumbnails grouped by student, with unassigned photos clearly marked. Need to reassign a photo? Select it and pick the correct student from a dropdown. Fix issues in seconds, not hours.

Browser-Based Privacy

All scanning happens locally in your browser. Photos never leave your computer during the sorting process—they're only uploaded when you're satisfied with the assignments and ready to push to galleries.
